Custom Look

One of the most cost effective ways to enhance a cars appearance is window tinting. You’ll notice the sleek, custom look as soon as the installation is complete.

Heat Rejection

As you drive, you’ll find your vehicle to be cooler and more comfortable. Major manufacturers of window films have made tremendous progress in developing films that give heat rejection rates over 60%. The films we carry come with lifetime warranty against turning purple, bubbling and peeling, as well as a special scratch resistant coating. The scratch resistant coating can protect your investment from everyday use of rolling your windows up and down.

Glare Reduction Protection from UVA, UVB

Tinting reduces glare and protects you and your car’s interior from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Whether it’s the blinding glare of the sun or the friendly interstate tailgater, tinted windows can be the right solution. Medical experts and auto upholstery technicians have long known how damaging UV rays can be. Today’s quality tinting materials eliminate up to 99% of these UV rays before they can get into your vehicle.

Security Tinting

Tinting has always been associated with increased security for your vehicle. What a thief does not or cannot see usually will be left alone! Film manufacturers have introduced safety tint that strengthens your windows to the point a baseball bat will have a tough time breaking through. An overlooked safety feature is in the event of an auto accident, window tinting can help shattered glass hold together, helping prevent jagged edges of glass coming into your car. An important consideration in your decision to purchase window tinting would be the years of comfort and quality. Dollar for dollar, tinting your windows improves the looks and protects your interior better than any aftermarket product available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Installation time can vary depending on the type of vehicle or how many windows are being tinted. Installation time can range from 1 to 3 hours.
We recommend waiting at least one week until cleaning the windows after installation. So you don’t risk pulling the tint loose, waiting one week allows for enough drying time. After one week, we recommend using a soft paper towel or cloth with any non-ammonia cleaner.
Yes! You must leave your windows up for at least 3-5 days. If you roll your windows down before then, there may be a chance for the tint to peel off.
We have both options available for you. We prefer the vehicle to be dropped off; however we do have a waiting area for customers to relax and stay for the installation.
The cause of bubbles or change in color is UV rays from the sun. The films we carry come with a lifetime warranty against turning purple, bubbling and peeling, as well as special scratch resistant coating.
Detailing varies from car to car. A full detail requires about six to seven hours of work depending on the type, size, and condition of the vehicle. If you are only getting an exterior or interior detail, it requires only about four to five hours. A more specific estimate will be provided on the day of your appointment.
Again, detailing is dependent on different factors including the type of vehicle, weather, and more. We recommend your vehicle be detailed at least once or twice a year. Due to our harsh New England winters, the wear and tear of the weather can add years onto your car. Bring your car by Mr. Tint today so we can design a detail specifically for your cars needs.
We regularly monitor the weather. If there is a chance of inclement weather we will contact you and give you the chance to reschedule.
We provide exterior, interior, and engine detailing. At Mr. Tint, we offer the services of waxing, claying, polishing, vacuuming, carpet scrubbing, window polishing, and much more.
Yes! We provide this service with our exterior detailing package. Due to New England’s inclement weather, UV rays, and other harmful elements, your car paint can be damaged.
Of course! We actually recommend this option since your car takes on heavy weather conditions during the winter months.
Taking the time to restore your headlight lenses will ultimately increase safety by allowing higher visibility during harsh weather and at night.
The process varies depending on the type of vehicle and the extent of the damage to the headlights. It regularly takes one to two hours.
There are a variety of different factors that can potentially damage headlights. Rain, humidity, road salt, sunlight, insects, road chemicals, and debris are just some of the causes of damaged headlights.
No. We keep the headlights on the vehicle during the restoration process.
It depends based on the extent of the damage done to the headlights. However, restoration costs much less than purchasing new headlights.
After the restoration process, the headlights should last up to about two years.
